Changing the interface language
The Movcar admin interface is translated into 26 languages, covering most of Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. Drivers see the mobile app in their device’s language; admin users pick theirs in the top bar.
How to change the language
- In the top bar (right side, near the theme toggle), find the 🌐 globe icon.
- Click it. A dropdown opens with three columns of language names.
- Click the language you want. The interface re-renders instantly in the new language.
Your choice is saved to your user profile, not the workspace — so other team members keep their own preferences.
The 26 supported languages

💡 Tip — the language switcher only changes the UI labels (menu items, buttons, form field names). It does not translate the content you’ve entered yourself — vehicle nicknames, driver names, document descriptions, etc. stay in the language you typed them in.
What about currency, dates, and number formats?
Those are controlled separately in Settings → General settings → Regional settings — see Regional settings: language, currency, date format. You can have, for example, English UI with EUR currency and DD/MM/YYYY dates.
What about translations for drivers in the mobile app?
The driver app uses the device’s language, not the admin user’s. So a Polish driver sees Polish in the app regardless of what the fleet manager picked in the admin.
